Co-Founder

Tom began his career as a mechanical engineer and has since applied lean process engineering principles to the maintenance and reliability field. He brings deep experience using Toyota Kata, Training Within Industry (TWI), and Lean Six Sigma to implement and sustain best practices in manufacturing environments.

A Certified Maintenance Manager and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Tom is also an instructor in TWI Job Instruction, Job Relations, and Job Methods. He has designed and led Defect Elimination programs focused on resolving chronic equipment issues through a “Don’t Just Fix It, Improve It” mindset. Working within an Improvement Kata framework, Tom integrates the relevant UpTime Elements to systematically eliminate problems originating from the Five Sources of Defects.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys camping with his family, supporting the local hockey team, and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Wenatchee.
